At DEAR MYKEL, every parcel is prepared with care and precision. The details below outline our methods, timelines, and responsibilities from the moment you place an order until it arrives at your door.
Shipping Methods & Timeframes
- United States: Standard 3–5 business days; Express 1–2 business days.
- Canada: Standard 5–7 business days; Express 2–3 business days.
- Europe: Standard 7–10 business days; Express 3–5 business days.
- International: Standard 10–14 business days; Express 5–7 business days.
Timeframes begin once your order has shipped. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.
Order Processing
- Orders placed before 2:00 PM EST are typically processed the same business day.
- Orders placed after the cutoff, on weekends, or on holidays are processed the next business day.
- Made-to-order or customized items may require additional processing time; details will be shown on the product page.
- You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking once your order leaves our facility.
Shipping Costs
Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination, service level, and parcel weight/size. From time to time, we may offer complimentary shipping promotions which will be reflected at checkout.
Complimentary shipping may apply to qualifying orders over a stated threshold when available. Restrictions can apply based on destination and service level.
International Shipping, Duties & Taxes
We ship to select international destinations with full tracking. Delivery times may vary by region and local customs processing.
Recipients are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees assessed by the destination country. These charges are not included in your order total and are collected upon delivery.
Address Accuracy & Changes
Please verify your shipping address before checkout. We are unable to reroute parcels once shipped. If you need to make a change and your order has not yet shipped, contact us immediately and we will do our best to assist.
Tracking & Delivery
Tracking information will be provided via email once your order ships. If the carrier marks a parcel as delivered but you have not received it, please check with neighbors or building management and contact the carrier directly. You may also notify us so we can support a trace with the carrier.
Signature & Security
For select orders, we may require a signature upon delivery to ensure safe receipt. Carriers may also offer delivery options (e.g., hold at location). Availability varies by destination and service level.
PO Boxes, APO/FPO, and Restricted Addresses
Some services may not deliver to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. If your address is restricted by the carrier, we will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery method.
Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Parcels
If your parcel arrives damaged, please retain all packaging and contact us within 48 hours so we can investigate with the carrier. For lost or stolen parcels, we will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
